Amy: I can't go into it all over the net. Really it is not so much what is
taught as it is what has been learned and then shared from common experience.
I do not claim to have any special techniques--you know tricks that click or
some secret way of doing anything. It is a hands on thing--based upon a very
basic knowledge of what works and, etc. etc.

I'll be happy to send any guidelines I use with the students to you. I have
a Donovan Scholar (senior citizen) student--retired chief of surgery here at UK
who has made three very fine reeds on the machine. He is 73 years old--but he
does have the eye and hand of a surgeon. Who knows! Regards--Dr. Monsen
