I have a published arrangement of the Gershwin "3 Preludes"
for clarinet and piano. I think it's put out by
Warner Brothers, and has been around for a few years.
The orchestrated version is probably more recent;
anyone should be able to arrange to perform the
other clarinet/piano version.

Subject: Gershwin's 3 Piano Preludes for Clarinet
Does anyone out there know if there has ever been an arrangement of the 3
Preludes for Piano Solo by George Gershwin for Clarinet and Piano. Richard
Stolzman just recorded them on the "Concerto" series for RCA in an
arrangement by Don Sebesky for Clarinet and Orchestra. I contatcted him
through his agent and was told that there is a legal agreement that
restricts the arrangement from performance by anyone OTHER than Mr.
Stolzman for 1 year.
I am performing a recital at the Rolling Meadows Library (IL) on February
6, 1994 and would like to include it on my program.
