Hi! I'm a newcomer on this list. I am a sophmore at Indiana State University.
My major is Music Education, and my principal instrument is clarinet. Now that'
s over with, my personal favorite way to sand my reeds down is to use a piece
of bamboo grass. The rough edges sand my reeds to the thickness I want, plus
the dust from sanding gets caught in the ridges, so there is not much dust on th
e reeds.
