Amy,

Elsa does not usually teach the double lip embochure to students right in the
beginning. After they master the single lip embochure that she teaches, which
is a combination of the double lip and single lip embochure, then and only then
do they have the choice to switch to the double lip embochure. I am planning
to learn the double lip this year and have already started the exercises for
this, which by the way I cannot reveal because of certain confidences, and I
already think it has a definite advantage over the single lip. Does that
answer your question? Hope so!!!

Thanks for the response!!!

Sincerely,
Michael Norsowrthy
