Here's the eternal question posed yet again...but now that it is
applicable to me personally, I begin anew my search for an answer!
Given limited practice time due to my day job, can you suggest
a routine--preferably a published method--to keep my chops in shape?
I've explored both Opperman's book as well as Jeanjean's, both
written specifically for this purpose, and have found both do not
wear well over time. Any suggestions? I've also tried adapting
some of the standard etude books for this purpose, but again
feel rather unsatisfied with the results. I'd appreciate your comments.
