Basicially, Ive got 4 reed cane plants which I put into the ground early
winter, and am hoping they survive. Got them from another member of this
list. Its kinda a long term project here in Maryland. I suspect that the
density of the cane will not be the same as that of Vandoren's, which of
course, is different than that of Oliveri's. Since I found that very
different mouthpieces worked best for those 2 different reeds, I suspect
that home-brewed cane would, as well, require something different, mabye
different from year to year (egad!)
