Thomas Walsh asked about the availability of Christmas Carols
for wind quintet. I have used the widely available "Play
a Song of Christmas" books by Ruth Zimmerman, published by
Theodore Presser. There are books for Flute, Oboe, Clarinet,
Bassoon (actually labeled Cello) and Horn in F. If you assign
parts properly, you'll end up with four. They are simple,
but on the occasions that I used them (parties and shopping
centers), people seemed to enjoy them.
