Jim,
I am not very knowledgeable about mouthpieces and don't know
much about dimensions but I know what kind of sound you get. Have you
ever tried a Charles Bay mouthpiece? He's a former Eastman student
and lives in California. It's about $150 a piece but well worth it.
The mouthpieces get a superior dark orchestral tone (more than any other
that iv'e tried). I used to play on a Ridenour (the designer of the
new Leblanc concerto-opus series clarinets) and that was ok but the Bay

I felt was far superior.
