I have been using Vandoren V-12 reeds since they were
introduced. I find that with systematic breaking in and
only minimal adjustment, a large percentage of them are
very good. The vamp contour used contributes to a large,
dark sound, just right for orchestral playing. I don't
have the dimensions of my mouthpiece; I'll see about
getting them from Clark Fobes.
