I am the most qualified clarinet teacher available to a group of three adults;
even though I have no formal qualifications and very little teaching
experience. It's a small town.

We have been working together for about a year. Generally, progress has been
good, but going over the break is still difficult.

The problem seems to be in the position of the right hand. Finger tips are
used to cover holes instead of finger-pads. Holes are not completely covered
and no sound comes out.

Even though I think I've identified the problem, I haven't come up with any
advice that results in improved hand position.

Does anybody have any suggestions? Four people will be very grateful.
