I too studied at Peabody, but with Sidney Forrest, & finally just finished my
DMA. Yes mpc tops need to match reeds, & it does seem that reed tip shapes are
slightly different..I seem to need to use sandpaper to get it to match....I'm
still looking for sources of reed cane plants Tom, any ideas?
