I find that as I mature as a musician as well as a person...I find it little to
be the fault of a reed, etc. as much as in my ability to control the instrument
I hope that fibercane could be developed to be a useful tool to the reed player
but I doubt that it will replace the cane reed in my lifetime. Any advancement
that helps the player without sacrificing the playing I am all for! :-) We
should remember our roots and the instruments of yore....but I would not trade
my instrument for an instrument of 100 years ago to play the music that today I
am challenged to play....
Anyone have any arguemtents...??? :--)
