Greetings & welcome to Klarinet-the clarinettist's network. I'm Jim Fay at
Northern Virginia Community College, Annandale, Virginia. I hope that this
network will be of help to all who play and enjoy the clarinetPerhaps queries,
notices of concerts, articles, and other points of interest would be a good
place to start. Right now, I'm looking for sources of reed cane plants (arundo
donax or arundo sativa), to try growing reed cane in Maryland, where I live,
any thoughts.

Notice of this list will hopefully be in thre next issue of The Clarinet, the
journal of the International Clarinet Society (I have an article on Brahms in
the last issue). Again, welcome.
