There is an absolutely delightful duet in Selected Duets Vol II from Rubank for SAXOPHONE. It is Petite Sonate No 1, Op 13 by Boismortier.
I did this on a faculty recital at Bethany University. We didn't have any Eb players at the school and I wanted to play my brand new R13 Eb, so I recruited a high school girl that had taken first in the state. It is a reasonably easy piece and absolutely lovely. It lies just perfectly for Eb.
If there are any Eb players near me ---Monterey, Santa Cruz, or Saratoga California---that would like to play it together, please call me at (831) 425-5658. I would really like to play it again.
