Paul, and all on the list.

There is a new saxophone around. I'd like to invite you to my stores in Santa Cruz and Saratoga California to TRY THEM and see just how good they are.

I will recommend for your needs Paul, the HEISIG STANDARD MODEL. I think you will find it a lot better horn than the others suggested here. To ALL---come play them and it should be obvious. This instrument sells for less than most student horns, yet last night in a blindfold test against a Selmer Mk VI and a Super Action (not to be confused with the modern sound alike names) the HEISIG placed second!

I have been teaching 43 years, repairing 45, and making professional sax mouthpieces for 37 years. KURT HEISIG MUSIC opened in 1968.

Many of my students are fine pros around the world.

I have been making the HEISIG for 2 years, and I just came out with this model about a year ago. I have been very unhappy with the state of saxophone making for the last 32 years and decided to do something about it. I have world-class alto and soprano saxes too, and a very fine inexpensive flute that pros are very excited about.

Our standards are very high and we have a very discriminating clientele.

Among the people that use HEISIG SAX OR CLARINET MOUTHPIECES are: Pharoah Sanders, Bert Wilson, Don Baillie (all Coltrane proteges), Tom Politzer, Karlton Hestor, Mauro DiGioia, and David Shiffrin (he has one of mine as his back-up to his Kantor).

Other customers include: Grover Washington Jr., Dr. Ron McNair (first instrument in the Space Shuttle---google--"Kurt Heisig" sax space----for story) Peter Hadcock, Phil Fath, Dan Leeson, John Breda, Ian Greitzer, Miles Zentner, Dan Marcus, Kieth Stauffer, Claude Gordon, Steve Adelstein, Eddie Gale, and Carl Leach.

Are these the best saxes made today?? The ONLY way to know is to come PLAY THEM---so call and make an appointment, or drop into Santa Cruz MOST afternoons after 2pm. (We keep musicians hours in Saratoga Tuesday and Wednesday---often until 2am or later!)

CALL FOR APPOINTMENT!
