Dear David and the List:
Many thanks for your interest ih listening to my egomusical trip on the=20
Radio.
.I have been trying to push the BrazRadio to put the site out for the in=
tl.=20
market but it never seems to happen.Will see what can be done for the fut=
ure=20
....I will have to record it and stream it to those who are interested=20
including James M. in Calif. ,who was indeed very helpful with internet=20
research, and our colleagues in the UK.
This streaming--which I predicted a bit before it has become reality--is=20
catching on even in the religious world!.My brother,the Rabbi in NJoisey(=
I=20
am the religious black sheep) streamed via the NET his High Holy service =
the=20
other evening and I watched in amazement and applauded!
Imagine churches,Mosques,alternative temples of religion will soon be=20
streaming as well prayer sessions into our homes so that we don't have to=
=20
abandone our humble dwelling places.
And when will the IDRS conference stream in the=20
recitals,concerts,workshops???
As monetary factors are often the lesser motive for our vices to play dou=
ble=20
reed instruments and recognition,satisfaction and expression are the main=
=20
factors,I for one would recommend that a knowledge of how to stream our=20
double reed recitals into the homes and offices of friends,relatives and=
=20
possible admirers should be part of our computer skills..
Personally I almost never accept a concert invitation to hear another art=
ist=20
perform live because my personal schedule is often unpredictable. Persons=
=20
who invite me often interpret my refusal as egocentric but really I --and=
=20
others--would like to "=E4ttend" concerts when it is convenient to our=20
personal schedules.
Does anyone in cyberspace double reedsville have any specific suggestions=
=20
how we can stream our concerts at low costs...webcasts,etc?Or are there=20
firms on the Net for this purpose?

A great Saturday!

Harold,

Would love to hear you, but I can't seem to get through to the stream thi=
ng.
Could you give the radio station and see if they can email a link to you
(preferably with English text) for the audio player? Then forward it to u=
s?
