Thanks, Phil. I did go there on my own though, since I do buy most of
my purchased equipment from Forrest's. The price they're asking for
is $114.50. I don't know if that's reasonable or not. the question
for me is it worth that much? I'm gonna have to think about it a
little more. One factor that is influencing this decision is that I'm
growing older and will have to stop playing in the not too distant future.

Well, if I do decide to get one, I'll give you first dibs on a
personal opinion.

I'm gonna take a guess here, but it looks like the way it works is
that you set the placement for the beginning of the blend area just
above the little wheel, and then start scraping from there. Is this correct?

What's the oboe bulletin board? Never heard of it. Although this
doublereed site seems like just the right place for a discussion of
this new item.
