Darn it!!! I thought you said son but then I got confused!!! hehehe...

Brian, i'm so sorry I hope I wasn't rude. OK maybe I shouldnt have
said the reed sucked. For one thing I have to say that I like the idea
of not having to wet the reed and wait 5 mins for it to be ready.

As for kids and all the things you mentioned, yes true. But I guess
where i disagree with you is the quality of the tone of that reed. I"m
not sure what to call it. I"m not a pro and I dont claim to be any
expert in anything in oboe world. But if I may say so the sound was
loud and unstable. This instability reminded me of the machine made
cane reeds i tried in the past. They were good for me when I first
picked the oboe but not right now :)

And like I said I wont be sending the reeds back to you :) I'm keeping
them. No I dont have an oil well in my back yard ;)
