Subj: [DR-L] packing up prob's (was On-stage warmups)

Me, too. If I'm allowed to set up ahead of time, no problem.

I was once unaware that we musicians were to process out with the end of the
program at a church program; I was stuck fighting the crowd trying to get
back in to gather all my equipment.

Being a MUTS user, it gets a bit complicated. Doubling on EH makes it that
much more complicated. I'm always the last one to leave when doubling.

BTW, are any oboists allowed to have their cases on stage (for easy access
to swab, tuner, tissues, blotting paper, etc.)?

I bought my own black leatherette folder to which I glued a small paper
pocket to hold a few blotting paper leaves. I also cut a strip in which to
hold 2 mini mechanical pencils. Unfortunately, this folder does not fit in
my gig bag like the paper folders do.
