Hi -
Will Buss sent the following info to me, and asked that I pass it
along. His organization has a chamber music "camp" in Santa Fe, in
July. It seems they are a bit short on oboists to fill out their
quintets. There was a reference to an attachment which I deleted since
I can't forward the attachment. It was about the mission of the
organization and an upcoming event in the UK.

Please allow me to bring to your attention a rewarding musical
experience that might be of interest to oboists and other woodwind
players you know.
I represent the Board of Directors of Kammermusik Workshops, Inc., a
non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to providing musical
growth for adult woodwind musicians through provision of chamber music
workshops.
Our summer session is just around the corner in July just outside Santa
Fe, NM, and we are particularly looking for oboes this year. We focus
on woodwind quintet repertoire, forming 8 quintets, in the week-long
summer workshop. Additionally, we provide ample time and a large
library of chamber music of all configurations for casual reading or
performance (we offer two performance venues, one private for
participants/friends, and one public). Fine piano accompanists are
also available to expand the repertoire possibilities and round out the
experience.

The quality of the playing and the coaching staff is superb, and we are
frequently congratulated on how well organized smoothly run our
workshops are. We have scholarships available to assist in making this
opportunity possible for interested players 18 and older, intermediate
and up. (Our participants range from intermediate to semi-pro, and our
coaches are all wonderful professionals with a special love of
coaching.)
