I'm curious to learn of anything that is robust enough to kill TB but will
not attack the cellulose of a reed. Not clorox, not H2o2, not alcohol, not
quats, and CHX is darned expensive for a US bath; its efficacy is diminished
by contact over time with protein. I have been leery of using anything
except detergent in mine. I dip student reeds in CHX.
