I have used Reedlife & it's okay; I wasn't particularly impressed. Your
mileage may vary, as some say. ; )
I'm now using the ultrasonic cleaner routine. Just put all my reeds through
a treatment yesterday, and my "old reliable" reed seemed to appreciate it. I
don't see a lot of gunk in the solution after cleaning, but am convinced it
must help the cane stay fresher. Of course, if you start with yucky cane,
nothing will help!
I bought the cleaner through Crispin's Creations (site is on ebay).
