I saw him do this at an oboe blowout at Rutgers years ago- the
multiphonics are cool. Remember how hard it is to slur all that. The
video has a bit of reverb due to the location. I know a talented student
of his applied at Manhattan School of Music with an audition with one
his compositions using electronics as an aid- she was turned down and
told "We don't play that here".....why am I reminded of the movie
"strictly ballroom"?
