Walking is so third world. We Americans of the Norte drive three blocks to
Safeway to buy a jug of wine. We drive our kids three blocks to school on
suburban streets. This may diminish as the incidence of shooting from car to
car increases on our freeways and streets, although walking in most
neighborhoods can be dangerous for different reasons. Oakland and Richmond
are combat zones, suburbia is populated by frantic women in SUVs who will
run you over on their way to pick up the kids or get to Safeway for the
aforementioned jug.
Love the wire and mike on the Korg; sometimes I can actually tune in spite
of the din of the trumpet section playing yet another Arbans exercise.
Best,
Herb
