Dear Lists
I have been seeking all my double reed life to make the perfect half moon
shaped tip on my oboe reeds.I therefore would like to suggest to David Leak
Geek Crispin and other innovators on the List to research the invention of a
tool which will substitute the knife and give us the perfect half moon.
Why the half moon seems to be the best solution to a good reed is another
question--or perhaps someone out there in dr cyberspace has an answer.
Awaiting the new invention .Possible name--Half Mooner!
