Hey Janie and All!

Thank you for this! Gonzalo is fabulous!!! Going to the Oberlin
Baroque Institute in June is worth the effort if ONLY to hear Gonzalo play!

His reed making is amazing. SHAPES BY HAND !!! While I have several of
his recordings, it was a pleasure to hear this ! I just can't imagine a
more gorgeous sound on ANY instrument! . . . .sigh. . . . .

Before he discovered the baroque oboe, he was a student of Marc
Lifschey on the modern instrument . Does anyone else hear this in his
playing??
