Are you on this list? If anyone knows Darlene, I would appreciate it if you
could forward this to her.

It's been a while since you sent them to me, but I wanted you to know I used
your Brahms Chorale Preludes last week. The organist I worked with pulled
out another version of "O Welt, ich muss dich lassen" and I played the
chorale tune with him on that, then we went to the Brahms #3. It was just
the right thing for the day. I look forward to doing more of those.

In the same vein, I got a demo cd from Morning Star publishers with an
arrangement for oboe, cello and organ of the Mendehlsson Sonata #2 Adagio
for organ. I've since done it for just oboe and organ. You just take the
melody (marked "hautbois" in the organ score, no less!) The organists
already know it, and they will play the 1st mvt., and you just join in on
the 2nd movement, which is connected by a fermata. This is a luscious piece
of music, and it fits nicely on oboe.
