You are the luckiest guy in the world. I have a copy ( I also have my own
copy)that with Kovar's own pencil notations. I may even have the resultant
second edition with is remarks in print, but this is more interesting. I'll
check to see what the thing cost me and let you know. When I was at Norm
Herzberg's home in Encino, I asked his wife Leah, Kovar's daughter, if it
was her Dad's writing and she assured me it was. She said he did that with
all of the first edition. They had no intention of any reprint of it (it wa=
s
self-published), but with Norm's death, they may have decided otherwise, an=
d
Southern may feel it is worth it to republish. If you decide you want this
copy after I figure out a price, I will fill you in on how to fully use it.
This was material that Schoenbach used regularly, and inasmuch as he was a
Kovar student, he understood how it was to be fully utilized. Be prepared -
it is terminally boring, but oh so effective.
