Best of luck, Janie. Our superb "classical size" orchestra died a lingering
death after five years of trying to pry money from the Nouveau Riche in our
area. They just didn't "get it" and our budget was too small to attract any
significant foundations. It was fun and we made some exciting recordings
with von Stade, Brubeck, and others, but it all came down to money. Quality
is no longer exciting.
