Fred,

My best guess is that each and every member of this list over 40 gets up in
the morning questioning whether they can "pull it off" in the music industry
today. This is certainly true for me as I struggle to raise the money to
keep the only period-instrument orchestra onstage in the Southeast. My best
advice is to invest in vintage wines and celebrate your passions which
ultimately ripen with age. You have wisdom in your camp.

The thing that hit me most about this video is when the 5 year old
girl says "I didn't know I could do that!", and felt so good about
making the sound on the oboe. I am 61 and trying to play the piano
and get frustrated out of my head every day when I realize its not
going to happen. I wish I had the optimism of a child again.

And I could just eat the little one up! Sooooooo cute.
