The end product has all of the alcohol evaporated out, so the ER remains
unintoxicated.
Wild Turkey, by the way, isn't a blended whiskey like the Heaven Hill
Whiskey in Mike's original recipe, it's a straight sourmash whiskey, which
presumably would add a lot more flavor. The liquor itself is also at a much
higher proof, in the bottle, then the cheaper stuff, which means that what
you didn't add to the mixing bowl will put you under the kitchen table more
quickly.
Think I'll go have some now.
