I thought so too. But then I dont know much since this is my first
service. I just thought maybe the hole needed to be cleaned from the
inside as well. But yeah definately the cork pad was sticky.
You hit the right nerve!! The upper joint IS wobbling. But long time
ago when the oboe was still new, the lower joint literally flew out of
my hand as I was trying to take it out. The corks were so tight back
then. The F# key was bent out of shape. I got it repaired by by
someone who didnt do a good job since he is the only one I found in
Kuwait. But I guess by now the tenons got worn out and thus causing
the F# key not to seal completely unless i pressed down too hard which
is no way of playing.
I cant wait to get my baby back :)
