Hello Richard (et al) Try using the "liaison" (long slur, acoustical)
fingering for the F#3. B2 fingers normally, as
<LH X, X, X, *LT (vent high c" key) / RH X, 0, 0, > and for the F#3, finger
<LH 0, X, 0 low Eb key (optional) /RH X, X, 0 * RT Bflat key> This slur is
very easy to make from any lower note without having any tendancy to crack
or distort. It is a real "keeper" fingering. Gerald Corey, Ottawa
