It has a hard time keeping the flame going.

A better piece of music for this vid might be Come On Baby Light My Fire, or
perhaps Chopin's Marche Funebre.

Other suggestions welcome.

BTW, burning cane stinks, so I would advise lighting an oboe reed on fire
OUTdoors.
Dipping it in kerosene or other flammable liquid would be more impressive.
I may have to try this with a few from those collected from students in the
Dead Oboe Reed Society. It's just a box which sits on my desk. I'm planning
some kind of craft item for the next recital, perhaps a tiara.
