Dear SimSim,

A few years ago I was involved in an effort to purchase and ship an oboe
into the heart of Baghdad. We investigated the services of DHL and found them
to be very efficient/helpful/reasonable in all aspects of this proposed
deal...despite the "turmoil" within the city at the time. You would have thought
we were shipping from Atlanta to New York City! I suggest at least a contact
on your end.

Good Luck!

Thank you Laura for reminding about the "not moving inside the box trick" !
I'm sure I will be paying over $200 for each way but the idea of
someone handling the package into the plane etc etc is just too scary
for me. All these years i've had my oboe I've only let 2 people
actually touch it. I know im paranoid maybe but hey it's my precious
diamond :)

Hey Mimi, do UPS people actually do that for you? Wow!! We have UPS in
Kuwait. I'll give them a call :)

cheers

SimSim
