Jim:
I have had success using Sibelius, which comes with a scanning
program called PhotoScore. Even the "Lite" version of PhotoScore will
allow me to scan music, do some basic rhythmic and pitch correction,
and export into Sibelius for final editing and printing. If I start
with a decent original and scan at 300dpi in greyscale, the results
are very workable. Changing a clef should be no problem at all.
