...it's 10th Anniversary Season Opening Bash!

Dear List,

The Atlanta Baroque Orchestra and Maestro John Hsu from Cornell University
cordially invite you to the first BASH of our 10th Anniversary Season! As the
only period-instrument orchestra in the American Southeast, we LOVE to strut
our stuff. Don your high-heel shoes, your fancy dress, your green hair,
your white wig, your powdered face...or just jeans will suffice. THIS is a
celebration!

Program:

Georg Philipp Telemann (1681-1767)
Concerto in D Major for 3 trumpets, 2 oboes, timpani, strings and continuo
Overture and Suite in G Minor, for 3 oboes, bassoon, strings and continuo
Concerto in D Major for 3 trumpets, timpani, strings and continuo

Antonio Vivaldi (1678-1741)
Concerto in D, Op. 10, No. 3 "Il Gardellino" (The Goldfinch) for flute,
strings and continuo
Concerto in C for 2 flutes, strings and continuo

Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750)
Overture and Suite No. 4 in D Major, BWV 1069, for 3 oboes, bassoon, 3
trumpets, timpani, strings and continuo
