That was really beautiful and fitting.
Thanks for posting this.
I'm not sure I'd find it at all easy to adjust to playing orchestral music
in England. There just seems to be such a different concept, from that in
the US, pertaining to where / when we believe the beat actually happens.
If I were to work in England, my colleagues would likely soon become put out
with me playing early. Just as many English musicians might likely play
late, by US standards, if coming to work in US orchestras.
I continue to notice just how awkward this difference seems to me.
Thanks again for posting some beautiful music being conducted by one of the
foremost interpreters of contemporary American music.
