Thanks Harry,
The cobbled-up experiment that I made with one of Chris Weaitt's plaques an=
d
a key-light worked pretty well. It was dirt cheap, but I could not easily
develop a way to keep the plaque and the light together as a unit (duct tap=
e
is sort of cheesy). Obviously the guy deserves compensation for his work in
that area. Mike Benthin pointed out that the button-batteries can get
pricey. How do you regulate the brightness of the LED in this unit?
There is definitely more detail when you are looking at only one blade at a
time, however here at the house I don't see a lot of improvement over a 75W
unfrosted bulb. In a pit it would be a godsend as I have made some
unpleasant mistakes in that circumstance.
