Subj: [DR-L] Delancie revisited
Date: Tue, 28 Aug 2007 13:50:57 -0400

Thanks Herb as well as others who have replied to my query /observation.We
,who were formed with school, spacks, groups often derided the other side of
the coin/another way of doing things.Yes Delancie seems a bit duller than
the other snake charmers but really at this advancing ge,my ears only hear
his fine qualities as an oboist and musician.
Speaking from the viewpoint of someone who has strived all his oboistic life
for such qualities, Delancie's legacy seems much greater than I ever
reealized. And I as never his fan!
Rgds,

harold
