Dear Friends,
With a heavy heart, we wanted to share with you that Professor Emeritus
Charles Robert Reinert passed away on July 5, 2007 at the age of 93. If
you are among those of us who were fortunate to have crossed paths with
Bob, whether for weeks, months or decades, he undoubtedly left a lasting
impression.
Bob's wish was for no funeral or memorial service so, at his wife Peg's
suggestion, we will hold a Celebration of the Life of Charles Robert
Reinert at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 21, 2007 on the stage of Hosmer
Hall at SUNY Potsdam. We hope that you will be able to attend. The
celebration will be a sharing of stories, memorabilia, and reminiscence
followed by a reception to conclude at 3:00 pm.
For those wishing to make a memorial donation, Peg has requested that
gifts be made in support of the Reinert Scholarship, which is awarded
annually to Crane students majoring in either bassoon or voice. The
proper beneficiary for all donations is the Potsdam College Foundation.
If you choose to make a gift, please indicate it is in support of the
Reinert Scholarship.
We sincerely hope that you will be able to join us as we celebrate the
life of an extraordinary teacher, performer, mentor and friend.

8 rooms are being held under Jason Ladouceur's name and are available
from September 20 - September 23, 2007. To reserve one of these rooms,
please call the hotel, provide Jason's name, change the reservation so
it is under your name and provide your own credit card number. These
