Hello everybody!=0AI just learned that there is a nice arrangement of the W=
eber Andante and Rondo Ungarese for bassoon and string trio by Mordechai Re=
chtman. I wonder if there are other arrangements like this around - not nec=
essarily string trio, but any chamber ensemble adaptation of pieces for bas=
soon and orchestra. After all, finding an orchestra to play with is not alw=
ays so easy - and one gets tired of hearing, teaching and playing these wor=
ks for bassoon and piano all the time. I think I heard about an arrangement=
of the Mozart concerto for bassoon and wind octet as well. Any others?=0A=
=0ATalking about the Weber Andante - don't know if this was already mention=
ed as a "youtube of the day":=0Ahttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DH6jOLvhlTC=
