Phil, I really appreciate the use of the "gust of fresh air" phrase.
Neither the Star Trek Fantasy nor the Mozart Cadenzas are written out - and
probably never will be. They're improvised and memorized. The Mozart concerto
was recorded but I have never been successful at getting hold of a copy.
Still trying.
As for the 'red alert' - I'm delighted that you figured it our, Miriam! I'd
love to hear what fingering you used! Mine is forked fingering on the left.
Finger regular "f" on the right.
