I just got my oboe back from Nora Post and noticed the bumpers were bluish.
Must be Permatex.
Just curious; any more info on that stuff? How is it better than teflon?
She recommends having the bumpers replaced every other yr (your mileage may
vary depending on how much you use the instrument of course).
