Sherm Walt had an accident on his motorcycle and he injured his hand. He
couldn't play for a year and I think the BSO put it in his contract that he
couldn't ride anymore. He was killed crossing the street (not in a crosswalk) by a
kid that came around a somewhat blind corner and swerved to avoid another car.
The kid wasn't drunk or high and no charges were brought against him. Just an
incredibly unfortunate set of circumstances that led to Sherm Walt's death.
