AND survinving his love of motorcycles! I believe he and his wife were hit by a drunk driver while
walking across the street. Just as he was beginning his retirment! She survived and I believe is
still alive.

My recollection is that Sherman Walt was killed by the accident in the
crosswalk. That, after surviving WWII combat and the BSO! Truly a loss.
