From my experience, don't hold your breath for the Takeda to replace Fox or
Heckel. That is not the mission of Mr. Takeda. It is his intention to
provide a decent instrument at a low price so that the development of young
Japanese bassoonists will continue. I would think the Renard series could
accomplish that, but I don't understand the economics of Japan.
