Near as I know, if you have weakened muscles in that eye after surgury,
they will come back. As for adjusting (combining left and right eye
views, the muscles will "pull" the eyes to see a combined view- as can
be demostrated by intentionally tilting your glasses so one side tilts
up while the other tilts down- you get a double image, but the muscles
will pull the eyes in the right direction to eventually superimpose the
images. Get used to that and take off the glasses and you get double
vision again- until the muscles resort the view. You do get "eyestrain"
from this if your glasses are not properly aligned horizontally!
