Reminds me of the old theory (in USA) that there was reason in replacing
one's car every two years.(something about balance of resale and
depreciation values). Never understood that, and I learn now that folks are
paying millions for some of the old "muscle cars" of the 60-70s era.
I believe that well made things are worth maintaining and keeping as long as
the job is being done.
