Dave,

My advice is to see a hand doctor. My arthritis is causing cysts to
form near my joints, plus little (or no) space between the bones of
the hand. You might want to see if there are exercises just for your
condition, or see if some splinting would help--maybe just while you
sleep or while you play. It could help preserve your joints. But
to me, a hand specialist doc and certified hand therapists are very
helpful. I don't just do the generic hand exercises, but what is
good for my own hands.
